yeah I dream of that day too, but every mmo that I have ever played has these issues around release. FF,WoW,STOR,City of heros, champions online, the Secret world, guild wars 1 and 2, diablo,ect. One day these issues will be gone, but sadley not today.Originally Posted by ten4

I was beat Nim on his final stage. But guess what? IT TIMED OUT. IM BEYOND PISSED. It took be hours to get past his 1st and 2nd stage. Then it said "critical, unable to connect to defiance service"I am so angry right now.

Seems to me they definitely need more than one sever per platform. When ever they get to high traffic times of the day they have issues with the servers. I can play in the early afternoon and early morning no problem but between like 8pm and 12am I have the hardest time connecting.

Been trying for an hour and a half. Although my other friend that lives a block and a half from me was and is playing right now. Where as my friend that lives 5min away from has the same issue. Any thoughts or idea when this will be fixed?

They posted that the servers were back up, and I still cannot get past the character select screen. I hope they can address this better than just closing a thread about server status and saying that it's fixed. Words are cheap.
Same here too. Was in a group on a solo main story mission. Left the group to enter a solo instance portion. Once I left the group, I never entered the mission. Logged out to try logging back in, never had the chance. Once I select my character to play, it just cycles on the loading screen until I get the timeout error. MY buddy is still playing though, and his game stopped him mid that same quest after me, so he isn't logging but instead doing ark hunting... lucky him....
I also made a new character. Was able to take it through the entire tutorial. Once I was blown up and sent to the main world however, I got the time out error again.
I really like this game, but I feel like the launch was rushed in order to give people time to play before the series premier of the tv show. Linking the game to the show was cool and all, but now the players are suffering for a BETA-esque game. I can't wait for it to be ironed out, because I know Trion puts out awesome games. Just disappoints me that I spent 60$ on this and it doesn't feel finished. /rantcomplete
Cannot connect my internet went out while playing now I cannot connect tot he server with my character.
