if it is not legal anymore then anybody could go around giving scrip to "unknown players" (their friends -_-) and then submit a ticket saying it was a thief

Okay that was not the case here so I was not his friend nor I will ever if I see that person again
I've seen 2 people, 1 I know personally get shafted by the trade glitch in recent months.
Friend lost his Krampus and didn't notice until well after the fact and reported it. He was told "HE" traded the weapon off and there was nothing to be done. The other player apparently lost well over half of his inventory and I heard nothing past the initial mad from that.
While the Trade system should be mostly as is, one good suggestion would be to either have some kind of tag system to purposely tag any/all items you're trading or to make all favorited items untradeable. Sure it'd be a slight hassle to go in and unfavorite stuff you're selling but its better than someone lag switching having a field day through your inventory.
As it stands the only things completely immune to being stolen are untradable items like the jps from the recent DF crates and items you have equipped on your loadout slots.
