You don't think they "Know" whats wrong? Come now.. if we believed they were that in the dark, why would we trust them to create a decent game? You must be fooling yourself if they have NO idea whats wrong. They just need to tell us how long it will take to change the tire and lets move on.

just purchased defiance from the psn and was really lookin forward to playing it tonite before i go to work the rest of the week. it sux but im glad to see im not the only one having the issue where the connection times out. i thought it was my ip, but i see its a common problem atm. i guess ill have to patiently wait to enjoy my new purchase and hopefully when i do get a chance to play i wont be disappointed! this game seems to have promise and i cant wait to get up in there and die multiple times. until then ill just try out this copy of revengeance i borrowed from my brother. fellow psn users feel free to add me, my psn id is keepitsavage. hope to see some of you in game and kickin a**!
Man, I'm starting to feel for the dev team - Saturday evening, enjoying a day off (assuming post-launch pressure hasn't kept everyone at the office already) - then WHAM! servers down. The calls go out, producers, principals, and leads are driving in to the office at 930 at night, and hopefully not too many of the rest of you.
I feel for you guys - I hope my shout out reaches someone - hang in there, the game has been great for me so far!
Bottom line no MMO has ever launched a perfect launch. Compared to other games that have launched this has be smooth. Yes the Servers go now and again, but at least they are on top of it and telling us. So to all the haters that complain and say they are going to play other games then have fun and don't let the door hit your *** on the way out. The Dev's are working on it and don't need to hear people complain this is not like this game this is not like this game. The are worried about Defiance not the performance of another game.

How are we fooling ourselves if they have no idea what's going on? That does not make sense.
This probably isn't a new thing, but a server status in the launcher would likely be a good idea to make it easier on everyone, so stupid people (Like me) don't end up thinking that their router is broken. Then again, fixing the connectivity issues probably take priority... so I guess I'm just making noise with typing... right... yeah, I'll go with that.
Also can't hate too hard on this game, think about some of the EA titles out there, and planetside2 which is famous for patch blunders. This is no TES Morrowind of Oblivion, but falls under that buggy, but lovable when it works.
i guess ill have to play LoL in the meantime
now i love this game a ton ton of fun and doing alot better fixing stuff but do have a few more updates for the PS3 users all i see are for xbox and ps3 seems to be having same issues
