Not so Skiller, I can't get to do the pursuits done on the eu because no one is doing or vary rarely doing the maps pursuits are tied to.
Yes if I could get the defend and attack kills in sw I could do it but that's tied to fy and ma there's lots of them tied to those maps like the revenge kills that I just can't get because no one is playing the maps when I'm on.

Possibly in the next update, usually when it goes to PTS it then makes it to live in the very next update. Horrible cause 100% of the time there are errors ignored that were pointed out when it was on PTS.
Honestly I don't see this as a big issue. Don't most mmo's and rpg's have characters leveling up purely through xp?
Pursuits should reward you with currency or unique cool gear.
Considering this is what made Defiance different, I'd say it's a big issue. Again, I don't have a problem with Trion doing this but make it require 4-5x more xp to level up 5-10 ego. It won't be easy but it's still an option.

I never said that that they had to be "cheesed" but rather that plenty of players were finding alternative ways to reach 6k right now and it isn't the bastion of eliteness that you keep trying to portray it as. Since it is possible (and probable) that many current 6k egos took the shortest path to reach the top then why should it hold any special significance?
It's interesting that you get very defensive whenever anyone dares to say that 6k doesn't belong on the pedestal that you put it on and you attack them by calling them lazy and without skill. No pun intended but there may be more ego issues in play here than you may realize.
I've been playing this game for over a year and a half now. Have a 5350,5150,2700,and 300 ego toons. I had come to terms with the fact I would never get to 6k. I refuse to do gold medal Defiance Kart, don't really bother with PvP or expo's. I only play 1-3 hours a day if that sometimes. I enjoy the game but am not spending hours,weeks,months doing something I don't enjoy doing. While I understand where many vets are coming from on this and do respect your thoughts. But the next Gen of players don't and want more. Every game goes thru phases like this. Vets need newbs and vice versa for the game to survive. I like Konstantinov's idea of making the last few hundred ego harder to obtain. I don't think someone should find a spawn spot and sit there for a few hours killing hell bugs and gain 1k ego. I know many ppl want 6k ego ppl too be the best of the best. But let's admit it,there are plenty of 6k's now who don't even understand the basics of the game as is. These are my thoughts, like it or hate it...the winds of change are upon us!!
