This is to keep the PVP portion of the game balanced, otherwise you'd have level 2000 + ego people getting into PVP matches with level 5's and the level 5 getting completely destroyed with a single shot.

The only way around that would be to keep PVP areas set by levels.... but then again you simply won't have enough people to continually fill up the lower level ego ones in say 3 weeks time.

Also I too noticed the script rewards for killing creatures was bonkers, 1 script for killing a creature, like WTF... Although can't you replay races/rampages to get good script? I seem to recall me doing the hotshots one quite a few time and making some "Phat Lewtz" or scripts that way.
And that's why I rather have progressing gear in PvE, and set classes/equipment for PvP. Not only would that make PvP more balanced, but it would also make PvE so much more fun.

Before someone says it, higher tiered box does not have a higher drop % for anything.
Except the last part was confirmed to actually give higher percentage for orange/purple on t4 by a dev.

Atticus finch, Respec is hardly the only expense a higher level player has, and even so you should be able to respec at a fair rate until you reach 2600 pure lvls.

Vyth, indeed that is the point, If I got better mods at higher level mods I wouldn't have made this post, however that is not the case, and I don't really wish it to be, I like the current system as its fair to low levels, however the economical aspect of it is completly unfair to higher levels.

Also Anyone over 250 ego has the same chance at getting reputation rewards as a 5000, and reputation gear actually is not better, It has synergy, but that is something which is availible from random loot quite early on.

I make about 400 scrip per major arkfall, I need about 12k to respec, havn't even checked adding mods as I cannot afford to put money toward it, and havn't had the money to be able to since about level 500.

Another thing worth mentioning, is legendarys seem to generally come without modslots.

The one I just got requires 12k salvage for the first modslot alone can't even imagine the price for the last slot

Would be really nice if a dev or a cm would let us know if this is something they already consider a issue, or if this is truely how they intend for it to work... The amount of work I have to do to simply add a single modslot to my items at this point has become quite... odd...

I'm only ego 360 and I see this issue starting. I'm intentionally hanging on to a couple low level guns I like so it will cost less to change in better mods as I get them. None of the higher level guns are any better than the lower level stuff so why use the ones that cost more to maintain?
