All of a sudden, what is now a source of much frustration and complaint, instead turns into a period of privilege, where we shouldn't have been able to play this awesome game yet but have a chance to dabble with it ahead of the official launch date. We'd be eager to participate in the testing, give feedback, help improve the game. All it takes is being upfront, honest, and accepting of the reality on the company's part that it won't be perfect at launch. Well market it that way. Call it a preplay beta period. Problem solved. I mean really, how friggin hard would that be? It's all about perception. When you overhype and overmarket a game like this, and it fails multiple times a day every day since launch, then you deserve the negative remarks. It's that simple.
