When i try to load defiance from the steam, it said invalid then "Failed to create main depth buffer surface. Please ensure your video card meets the minimum requirements necessary to play the game." How do I check on my Laptop for the video cards then control panel?

This link should help you review your system information, including the video card:

With Windows 10, it is important to make sure you've installed DirectX 9 as well, as Windows 10 does not include the files by default.

If you're still having problems, please submit a helpdesk ticket at https://support.trionworlds.com/hc/en-us/ and make sure to include an up-to-date DxDiag.

After doing the dxdiag update and its still not working. I would recommend a full wipe and fresh install of w10. Make sure to back up the system files, games, docs, etc. I run a two nvme drives one for the OS only, I then install all apps programs to a second nvme drive so I can get back up and running quickly. Steam has no issues detecting that the games are already installed on the second drive after a fresh OS install.
One thing I like about w10 is how fast I can do a fresh install using media creation tool. Unlike w7 where I would slipstream the fix packs and inputs, w10 is still saves me a ton of time. If you have a 32gb usb drive then all you need is to go and download the tool.

Launch the tool and select 32 or 64 OS or both as I have a mix of systems and select install to another computer. After downloading select the the usb to be the first boot device and the install is so much faster.

Nice solution you have already here, Now you can fix your windows 10 max path length through LongPathTool as well windows 10 file path limit.
