Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.
I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

I was really hoping this was going to be a serious thread on this topic. So to carry on in my wonderful state of denial I am going to answer this thread by answering the question in the title and not responding to the...interesting comments in the OP.
When I PvP I prefer to use a smg, more specifically a VBI smg. Depending on my mood I'll equip my Syphon nezumi, my spine Chiller, my thorny rose, my x3 Crit pl8 no Nano VBI smg, or my newly acquired x3 Crit radiation nezumi.

I can tell you right now . I would show you however you're on ps3 and I'm on xbox360 so no hope in being able to do that lol.
T4 or t5 err depending on the gun
T4 or t5 fall off barrels on all but the rad nezumi. It's my warmaster gun so it has a t5 pb at the moment soon to be replaced with an ionic.
I think they all have t4 or t5 fast action magazines
And finally they are all equipped with a t4 or t5 assault Scope.
Lol gotcha and thanks for the info... i think im gonna take a look at some notes and see what i come up with.... shame tho... vbi has such potential but without a crit buff they will stay fairly unloved....

If I am not mistaken they have the highest Crit out of the smg's, not to mention they are the most accurate when you aim with them, which I always do. 90% of my shots are Crit shots and with their fire rate and a 2.5crit Mult they are quite spectacular. However I am all for everyone underestimating them. It just makes you all that much easier to kill.
Oh and I forgot about my Syphon Sol prom VBI smg it is modded in the same fashion as the smg's listed above.
why smg over vbi ar?
falloff and accuracy is much better on the AR, not to mention the high quality jackpot AR's in the game

They aren't broken. Pulsers and Tachmag Pulsers are better.
