    PS3 Hard Freeze

I have noticed that on my new toon every time i go to my Cyber Rig section of the pause menu my PS3 will freeze and i have to unplug it. I tried this with my high toon that has a Cyber Rig but my PS3 doesn't freeze. Also, if you go to the salvage matrix and go back to your load-outs it will freeze you PS3, i'm certain that this only happens if you do not have a Cyber Rig.

It was happening to me months ago on my main toon. If I remember right, it was still doing it with my cyber rig on. I don't go into my Character menu & R1 over. I go through my loadout way. Seems to not freeze my PS3 anymore. I haven't tried the other way because I don't want to risk freezing it. 99.9% it would still freeze it to this day.

The salvage matrix & going over into anything freezes mine. Whenever I need to use anything in my character menu I always back out into the game. It's a pain the in *** but it works.

If you do have trouble try going into your Cyber rig in your loadout. See if that doesn't freeze it. Works for me.

Hey there Kouto! Have you tried running the restore file system on your PS3? If not, it's a basic troubleshooting step I'd recommend:
    1. Turn off PS3 so the red light is on.
    2. Hold and keep holding the power button. The console will turn on, and eventually turn off again.
    3. Once off, with the red light on again, press and hold the power button. You will hear one beep, another single beep after that, and then two beeps in a row. After the two beeps, let go of the power button so it doesn't turn off again and you'll end up in the system recovery menu.
    4. Once you've entered Safe Mode, select "Restore File System" (NOT PS3 SYSTEM). "Restore File System" will attempt to repair damaged files on the hard drive.
If that doesn't work, feel free to contact our CS team directly. When you do, make sure to let them know which steps you've already taken so they can get a head start. Hope this helps!
