Because other people would have a chance to actually fight back.
The spread, mobility and high nano-proc should be the Blast Rifle's strong points, not all of the above and the fact that it feels like getting tackled by the Juggernaut when you get shot by one.
Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.
I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

Bunny hoppers are easy to deal with in multiple ways. 1. Bio nade or primary weapon, then finish them with anything that does the job fast (high fire rate, fast reload/big mag gun with electric or rad, or a hard hitting automatic gun that has a big mag/fast reload). 2. Get close and hop right next to and in sync with them (but always just out of the line of fire) and keep firing. You'll kill them just as fast as if they were standing still...just need a good weapon and shield to counter their shots for #2--should not be attempted if you are scared to take a bullet or 10.

I didn't read the whole thread but when I pvp "he who bunny hops first always losses"

If you hop on me I smile keep hip firing and wait till you land to hop on you and kill you with your own child's play.

#2 Is not so easy to do if you use a semi-automatic weapon such as the Bloodhound MK2.
The biggest issue with hopping though is the fact that due to the jump speed, players with awful connections simply teleport up and down. That and the fact that you can't bunny hop with a Pistol.

Well here's an easy fix for your first concern...use an automatic weapon. Blaster pistol could be used if you really need to have a pistol. Don't know about hopping and firing it though. I don't bring pistols to pvp anymore...

Not much can be done about the lag masters though.

I just hope that the surge's are less accurate with head shots while bunny hopping. If all that happens is its harder to aim while hopping than why patch at all? When I tested it with my slipshot, I had to be right next to the guy, and firing from the hip. (Again a big apology to the guys in SW that night.) I think the weapon should loose its charge when you jump. I know that will make headshoting people while jumping from the spawn point harder, but I am willing to make the sacrifice.

The only way I managed to stop bunny hopping was using the Cerberus. There's something hilarious about hitting a bunny hopper and getting the road kill message.

Any decent electric BR will take all the fight outta a bunny hopper. On a semi-related note, I'm seeing a few bunny hoppers posting in this thread complaining about 'em. Gave me a giggle!
