    Have the same problem but I´ve found a way to do it. What you have to do is hit esc (back to the game) after you chose the first perk, then hit L and click on the next perk choose perk and hit esc... rinse and repeat.

    I´ve noticed that lots of times you can only change gear/perks by clicking on the slot from loadout-tab. If you try to equip from the inventory-tab or ego-tab it´s a possibility for bugs. So to avoid frustration I always hit esc after each change and the L again for the next change.

    Now when you are able to have different perks and gear in you loadout you are gonna start locking for the key to change loadouts fast... No luck??? If your keyboard/mouse can handle macros here is the way I do it:

    I use a Logitech G700 mouse and made 2 macros. The first one changes loadouts upwards (1 to 6) and the second do it downwards (6 to 1) . I´ve put the macros on my sidescroll (middlemouse left&right).

    Loadout up:[L(80ms)L]+[300ms]+[W(80ms)W]+[300ms]+[W(80ms)W]+[300ms]+[W(80ms)W]+[300ms]+[D(80ms)D]+[300ms]+[L(80ms)L]

    Loadout down: [L(80ms)L]+[300ms]+[W(80ms)W]+[300ms]+[W(80ms)W]+[300ms]+[W(80ms)W]+[300ms]+[A(80ms)A]+[300ms]+[L(80ms)L]

    Explanation: [L(80ms)L]= [push L button for( 80ms ) then release L button]
    (((my macroeditor show this as [(down arrow L) (smiley 80ms) up arrow L)])))

    [300ms]= [wait 300ms then:]
    (((my macroeditor show this as [Smiley300ms])))

    What the macros really does is open up the loadout-menu (L), then go up in the menu using W (up)(first time to co-op tab and the second time to loadout-tab) then A or D (left or right depending on macro) and finally L button to get back in game.

    Note: In the macro I had to put in an extra W-keystroke. Because when you hit L your "startpoint" in the menu are gonna be either the first or second weapon slot (depends on where the weapon you use is slotted) and everytime I was using second weapon the macro didn´t work. Since pushing W an extra time don´t screw with the macro the easiest fix was adding a extra W keystroke in the macro.

    OK so setting all ego powers to the same will let me now have different outfits, but still wont let me have different titles or perks.

    It's bugged/glitchy because the friken UI interface was meant to support console in mind, but a controller =/= keyboard and mouse. So any traditional pc user whose played games before will usually use shortcuts. That couldn't possibly work on controllers. For example, have you noticed that when you select a perk slot with a perk in it, but want to choose a different one; that it asks you to unequip the perk first, yet you are able to pick a new perk, and simply press enter to equip it without unequipping old perk.

    Hence, they really need to make the dam pc version of Defiance a standalone for keyboard/mouse. This is why I hate playing console ports on pc.

    Same issue, regardless of what I do my perks, outfits, and titles continue to change. I really wish we could get a devs response on if they are working on a fix for this or not.

    Yes, so far this is the worst bug in the game for me. Haven't had an issue with server crashes or anything else, I can understand why they take precedent if others are experiencing them a lot. But this bug really gimps me. The loadout I like to use for all the missions (a sniper build) just isn't that useful in Arkfalls. The only useful setup I've found for Arkfalls is using an AR. Luckily the crit based perks I use in my sniper build also work out for my Arkfall build since I'm usually trying to hit critical hit spots.
