I think Diabloe 3 is just a rush to get the Blizzard and Sony name brand associated with each other. I think Blizzard has much more in store for the PS4 than what was announced last night

Bleh looks like right now, IF there will be backwards compatibility for the ps4, sony doesn't quite know HOW they will do it -_- and it probably wont be at launch.

Luckily! They say that the games that would be easiest to emulate will be the ones that don't take as much unique advantage of the ps3's hardware, such as games made for multiple systems that required less porting, which I would certainly call Defiance. They have said they wanted to make it so it could communicate cross platform and if it was taking too much use of the hardware, it wouldn't have been compatible. so hope lives on.

Thanks, we still have time to switch our preorder (ordered through Gamestop) but it would be really nice if a Dev could shed a little light on the future before we go making hasty decisions.

Either way, I'm all in with the PS3 version of the game but it would be nice if some of my Sony Brothers had the option to switch to the pc version if its not going to be PS4 compatible.
