controller support?

this is probably a "you're an idiot for even asking" kinda question, but... once i buy the game in 6 days (counting? me? nahhh), does the pc version have support for using a wired xbox controller / pc gamepad, or is it all keyboard/mouse?

if it supports the xbox... (and this is the part i've not tried in other games yet) does it also support the headphone jack built into the controller, or do i need to use my big, bulky usb headset in order to hear the obnoxious chatter guaranteed to exist in any unmoderated voip channel?

I've been using my wireless Xbox controller and I have to say I much prefer it over using a keyboard and mouse for this game. Haven't bothered seeing if it supports the controller's mic though, because the only people I want to talk to are in TeamSpeak anyway.

Yes, perfect controller support, you never have to touch your keyboard if you don`t want to. Considering it`s a mmo-ish game I am quite impressed by that. Can`t speak to the headset either unfortunately.

Does anyone know if the game will allow a different controller besides an xbox or ps3 controller? I have a Gigaware PC controller it does not seem to be recognized by the game. I log in, and the controller will not respond. I change the UI setting and nothing.

Yes it does. I tried the PC version of the game with a different controller and it worked.

Try to use DS3 tool or Xpadder for remapping.

For Directinput devices, use x360ce emulator.
