what music genre you listen to?

nowadays i'm more into jazz hop, chill hop, underground hip-hop and sometimes drum n bass, dubstep, trap, electo house and anything EDM & hip-hop in general

i used to be part of the punk/metal culture. attending gigs to concerts, submitting band interviews through the early days of e-mail and submitting them to fanzines. doing DIY stuff and all that. making mix tapes and giving them to friends (cassette tapes mostly and i still have a lot stored), buy magazines like metal edge, alternative press, metal hammer, kerrang!, revolver from discount shops. frequent visits to thrift stores to see if theres some good band shirts to sport then times go on and you get old and your old buddies moved on to other things in life and decided to mellow down and give up that scene. last concert i was on there's more younger kids than i am and i said to myself "im getting too old for this s...." lol

Sounds like we went opposite ways.

As a youngster I listened to most of what you listen to now.

Now I'm all about the punk/metal/anything-with-a-guitar-other-than-country scene. I like hearing the sound of multiple people creating music than it being created through machine. Not that it doesn't happen with punk/metal/anything-with-a-guitar-other-than-country, but much less often. I also can't believe (most of) GnR got back together after all this time... hope they do something amazing before they get too old... been listening to a lot of Volbeat and Disturbed lately.

For me, rock/metal wins out above everything. (That includes alternative, hard, indie; heavy, gothic, punk; etc etc) But I also jam out to dubstep, trap, drum & bass, EDM, IDM, j/k-rock/pop, various types of instrumental & heavy metal symphony (or symphonic metal) and orchestral hybrids with various rock base's, trailer music/epic music, VERY selective with rap and hip hop. Probably others that I'm forgetting, but likely fall under one of the aforementioned categories. x)

the last 5 concerts i've watched were

    saosin
deftones (best concert i've ever attended hands down. of course chi cheng wasn't there due to illness. RIP to him)
    arch enemy (twice)
    trivium

i do miss watching gigs and concerts though but the ticket prices here in my country are insane

i recall going to a so called rave party but more undergound and people within my age were there and just chillin' while there are younger ones there as well. i really toned out a lot. met some good folks though

My music genre ranges from rap to hip-hop and Jazz to Indie
I like a lot of different types of music other than country music ( not my thing or metal)
I like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Watsky, Macklemore, The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, GEazy, Drake, Hopsin, Eminem and the list goes on and on. Lately I have been in a 50's kind of mood so that is what I listen to most day.

I'm an Arkhunter I traverse the land looking for valuable loot. Most days loot is shoddy and not that great, but with great Patience I finally received the frostbite in a WarMonkey room. I was really excited because I traversed through the lag and finally earned something useful. Up to now I do not regret wasting time on this game because it is my current home. Getting on daily to complete contracts and missions and helping others find the mods they need.

I saw Pantera at the Horseshoe Casino last summer. IT. WAS. AWESOME!!! Saxon opened for them, and they played for a good hour for a band opening... Which was sweet since Saxon is friggin' badarse, too.
