Nim Shondu - The hardest boss i've ever faced.

I died once using BA and AR with cloak(which doesnt work on him, he even told me)... If you played any shooter this fight shouldnt really be an issue.

Honestly I like to say and pride myself on being extremely proficient in video games and find a natural instinct with most, but this boss was pretty ridiculous. Never have I ever faced a video game boss that hard, really. I did it with purple and orange weapons, at ego 384, my ability overcharge. I counted and it took me:

1st phase - 4 deaths
2nd phase - 6 deaths
3rd phase - 3 deaths

By deaths, that is referring to extractions. Not self revives. Would be x2 the number of self revives. I would just like to point out and there are [countless] others who do agree with me in saying this boss is one of the hardest, and very disappointing bosses also. There is little to no skill involved with the boss honestly. It's a rinse and repeat cycle and once you nail down what to do, you will get it, the training in the game and the entire campaign just led up to rolling all over the place trying to dodge fireballs for 1 hour of trying to kill Nim and the clones in the 2nd phase was almost impossible, I will say though I had the biggest smile ever after each phase was done, and this boss was incredibly hard. I believe he needs to be nerfed, honestly.

I didn't die once, using Cloak with perks that boost it and a Shotgun/LMG combo. He said he could see me, but I never got hit while in cloak, he and his clones just wandered. Didn't use the LMG at all since he was so mobile, but the shotgun tore him a new one. He was by far and away the easiest actual boss I've faced alone.

really depends on how you approach it. it's not a fight you can brute-force your way through, something i realized quickly andi wished i didnt have an lmg.

Nim hardest boss in Defiance, but just common boss in comparison with other games.

Honestly the only part that I had any inkling of trouble on was the first phase with him running around invulnerable 90% of the time. Took forever since all I had was a sniper loadout.

I just pumped him with my shotgun, switched to an Smg when he ported up and did his sword throw crap, never got downed, never got killed, in beta or release :P
