I would be adding my two cents on my tactics to kill him. But alas he was too powerful! Right before I killed him he used his uber server reboot power on me. TWICE today! I can't take it anymore. How can they justify two reboots in one day on the busiest of days? Lame support is LAME!!!

Thanks for the (mature) replies guys. It seems there's people on both sides, either died alot or never died honestly.
I will say I used an Assault Rifle with a scope (making it hard in a small space) and a Sawed off (useless when he has a sword)
I used no defensive perks, the perks I used only benefited reducing my overcharge rate. In general I see now I went about the completely wrong way of handling him, and that's probably what messed me over. I feel like if you have the right setup, he could be incredibly easy, but for me it was honestly just constantly dodging with a 9.6 recharge delay shield, trying not to die.

    Thanks anyways, guys.
    Thank you, -Slay

Add aim assist to consoles - Cloak/Shotgun Fixes
Add radios to cars - Clan stratocarrier with Concept Art

Best/most challenging fight in the game. Needs to be more like it!

During the instance I picked up crappy guns, a machine gun with 80 ammo but insane recoil, and a sniper.
Was nice when I actually hit him in the head during the first phase, but when the second phase came the sniper was useless.

I did kill him on the first try, would have been so much easier with proper weapons.
What makes this boss go from super hard to easy was my 2.85 recharge time on my shield.
Spamming the alt button, dodging away and around cover. He doesn't have much health at all. But he does two-shot you in the first and third phase with such low shield capacity.
Maybe an infector weapon would be nice cause it does damage over time, along with a good assault rifle for the second phase!

A shield with low recharge delay is really useful on nim. I did it with an overcharge setup (had all the overcharge perks maxed) and an AR. Took me two extracts before I got the timing right.

Now I admit, not quite there yet after release, balance in alpha was a bit different when I did it but I also got severe graphic glitches during phase 2/3 but still beat him. Looking forward to fighting him again. But jackleg joe, another fight some people have been complaining about.. Actually was suprised that I felt that he was alot easier this time around. Mostly difficulty in this game comes down to learning and adapting, but then again alot of (non-gear dependant) games are like that. I've seen several posts with frustrated people complaining about the difficulty instead of asking for tips, and when they learn from those tips they suddenly find it alot easier.

The "It's easy, you just suck" posts are just as annoying, do not add anything.

Glad you persevered and finally beat him despite having trouble with him at first, because the ability to persevere, learn and adapt is truly a sign of a good gamer, not being able to consistently make headshots

I did it all in 1 go, but it took me about an hour of tries. By the time I posted this thread he was finished, I wish I would have known about all the support and tips people are giving me right now though, my high recharge delay shield was a big mess up in my trials.
    Thank you, -Slay
