    I never once said in the thread post to make him easier in difficulty. I only mentioned adding co-op ability. I guess you misunderstood, or what I wrote was ambiguous. Sorry, I will try to make revisions later.

    Nim was fun, and fine. I used cloak, a detonator and a Tacmag Pulser. Got him first go with no deaths. A++++++ would fight again.

    the worst bit about the boss for me was the way he and many objects in the room just seemed phase in and out of existence was the ridiculous part for me, much of it would just disappear for no reason (lag i guess) but it was so frustrating, otherwise i imagine it would have been a nice challenge.

    This fight is ridiculous. I only made it to second phase. Then read this thread and see you have to kill him 3 times. I die after getting hit a couple of times. He has to be hit a 100 times or so until he is finally killed? Yeah, that's a fair fight. Every other battle in the game takes maybe 5, 10 or 15 minutes and this one took far more than that and I did not even get halfway through it. It would be different if the fight was a scaled up version of previous fights but this is like doing all other fights in one battle. Some of the harder missions even give you special weapons to take care of the bigger more difficult opponents. Not the boss fights. It is just such a shocking departure from the rest of the game that it is not to scale or even interesting once it is completed.

    He is really quite easy I only actually had to restart it once due to my own fault at being a bit slow when he explodes the pillars. He was easy enough with a respark shield with saw'd off shotty and overcharge though. Literally just circle around the middle pillar killing him lol.... do not see how that is hard?

    I used Cloak with a shotgun and an AR. Mostly used the shotgun (flat spray of pellets). In the first phase it's dodge, evade, dodge, shoot for pretty much anyone right? Second, I ran around the pillar until he popped up with his clones, let them come around objects to me or ran up to them, focus fired one to the face forcing them all to disappear. It's a tough battle, and I am only a casual gamer, but I decided to fight through this time and I'm very glad I did. It was rewarding...I died a LOT. And for my two cents, I want everyone else to have the same experience I did lol.

    • Make the boss be one scaling in difficulty to the amount of players
    • Make the boss' hits affect everyone in the game. Fireballs launched at all players.

    At the moment until this nerf is read and acknowledged, hopefully integrated here is what I recommend and don't recommend.

    Very bad setup for solo play
    • Rhino Shield (Around 1700 capacity, 9.6 delay)
    • Sawed off shotgun (Useless when he has a sword)
    • Any gun with a scope forcing ADS[Aim down sight] (Useless in close quarters)
    • Ego ability: Overcharge

    Now that I've read alot of replies and comments;
    Recommended setup for those attempting Nim:
    • Respark Shield. (Around 1,050 capacity, 40%+ recharge, 3 delay)
    • Regular shotgun, either pump or combat. Don't use a sawed off.
    • BMG to heal yourself. This makes it alot harder to die.
    • Infector, or any gun with AOE or homing. Helps when running and gunning.
    • Ego Power: Cloak or Decoy will help out alot.

    I died around 10 times on my effort, but that was before this topic was posted in the first place and I realized my errors. I basically used the bad setup gun for gun, power for power.

    Thanks for updating your post with what you found out to beat Nim. I too had a bad setup but thanks to the helpful folks on the forum figured out what I was doing wrong.

    Here is the setup I beat nim with, both in alpha and after release:

    Respark shield (with 2.85 sec delay)
    Assault rifle (don't remember which one, some random AR)
    Ego power: Overcharge (maxed, plus all the overcharge related perks for cooldown and duration).

    Thats about it.

    In alpha I beat nim after dying two times in phase 1. No deaths on the other phases.
    After release, one death on phase 2, no deaths on the other phases.
    Platform: PC
    Character: Blackwolfe (EU)
