    I don't support nerfing Nim Shondu, if its hard then I would value my title more, if they make it an easy fight then my title would become much less meaningful, to kill him i used a LMG, first stage I had to extract several times, once i got onto the second stage i managed to go through and finish it without extracting, had to self revive tho. Also i encountered a bug going through the tunnels to him, on the turret stage the turrets wouldn't activate so i couldn't disable the generator, and the door to Nim wouldn't open

    Just to clarify for those who did not read, this thread has a purpose to make Nim Shondu available to be played cooperatively. I do not wish to make him harder or easier in game. Thank you.

    The first two stages are pretty average, it's only the third stage that's a bit of a challenge.

    But that's mainly due to the 'over the shoulder' view meaning sometimes you are still in line of sight when you can't see him and think you aren't in line of sight and get caught by his AoE.

    Seriously it's like the only challenging content in the game.

    Stage 1: 0 deaths
    Stage 2: 0 deaths
    Stage 3: 3 deaths

    LMG & Shotgun, Respark shield, Can't remember what EGO power I used, didn't use it much.

    So did they nerf him then? Because I just fought him on Friday and didn't die at all, just used a pump shotgun the whole time with a respark shield. Also I think I was rocking Cloak but don't remember using it very often.

    in alpha he was impossible for me... as much as i like shooters i tink i am pretty decent at shooters too lol... but i failed miserably in alpha against nim cos i didnt use a bmg lol.... after launch i killed him pretty easy using a bmg and an ar...

    if their is going to be a nerf... i suggest instead of nerfing him, make the story instances co-op-able... so nim will scale depending on how many players grouped are in the instance at the time. i think this will be allright gw2 allows u to party up for story missions..

    Old-School gamers find him easier than New-School gamers. Use Blur and Detonator - long range one works best. Idk about perks, use thick skin, cellular armor and whatever else you need. Take care.

    P.S. - Respark is a must, as mentioned above.

    I wish to retract my previous post about this being way too hard.

    I have respecced. My Ego was set for all out damage, great for arks etc, but I was dying a lot.

    I changed my spec for shield recharge and health boosts and I didn't die once on my first attempt at him. It was a bit boring though in use admit. Not the lost interesting of battles.

    As far as making him co-op boss I say yes, make him harder but available for up to 4 players. I like the co-op elements of this game.

    Yes, I must see to admit this boss is almost completely dependant on your build, rather than actual skill level. Co op would balance this boss easily.

    Just finished him again tonight after my repeat of the storyline. Used nothing other than the long-range infector (immunizer) in all three phases.

    A bit of a joke after the trouble I had first time, but I either became a badass or I'm just comfortable with my builds/weapons now.

    That or the bugs did all of the work. I guess I can see one reason why they were nerfed.

    I beat him earlier for the first time, I remember seeing this thread along with another one before so I thought "time to test this scary overpowered boss."

    Turned out he wasn't OP at all, nerfing him or making him co-op is absolutely ridiculous. I don't consider myself particularly good at solo-ing bosses but really now? The only thing that is needed against this boss is a brain, once you figure out a strategy it's piss easy to kill him (especially for the 2nd and 3rd phase, 1st phase was annoying.)

    Dodge, shoot, dodge, shoot, refill ammo, dodge, shoot. Repeat this for the 3 phases until the boss is down. The end.
