Took a long break from game and just recently came back.
Having a ton of fun running around with a toon I'd just started before quiting. Have gone from 800 ego to 1700 ego in last week doing nothing but incursions, sieges and minor/major/wm arcfalls. In fact egoing up so fast I'm having difficulty getting enough AF to keep my purp shield and guns leveled.
Key is getting weapons that suit what your doing and help you score.
A Typhoon or some sort of Det for infected sieges, high RoF SMG/BR for Volge along with a SS-2 or Quick Repeater sniper.
Getting guns with lifesteal or syphon nano will help keep you up and shooting more as will a shield with regen.
Trying to do pursuits can get very annoying and tiresome, reason why I've more or less ignored them and just enjoy chasing incursions and calling in arkfalls. I'm playing the game to have fun shooting things with weapons I enjoy using, not to trudge through a bunch of pointless tasks to get some box checkmarked.
