I'm actually rather bummed, surprise and a bit confused as to why the Devs didn't include some basic "common sense" sights for SMGs and Assault Rifles like our military uses today!?!?!

You know...Reflex Sights for Assault Rifles as an option!?!

    Definitely for shotguns!!

Maybe even a laser dot for pistols!?

    You want my weapons...?

Thank you for this! I've put in feedback that there should be a view preview of the mod (what it looks like through the scope). This is nice to see, though, in the meantime!

Scope mods actually lower your accuracy, not give bonuses. -accuracy is actually the beneficial stat (shows up as a random modifier) +accuracy actually hurts your aim. Should make note of that.

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

Have to admit that I'd like to see some sort of low zoom Red Dot Sight for use on SMG/LMG/AR's etc.
They are common enough, even my telescope has one !

Not a great pic - (it was cold & dark) - but you get the idea!

I thought -accuracy was a penalty, so my orange vot bolter with -0.30 accuracy is actually better than I thought.

    -Accuracy = Good
    +Accuracy = Bad

All scopes and Run & Gun synergy currently have a detrimental effect to your weapon. This is obviously not intended but it remains a bug in the game nonetheless.

If you mod a Sniper Rifle with a Telescopic Scope III (+0.30 Accuracy) your pinpoint accuracy will start missing head shots like crazy. Shots will stray left and right off target making the Sniper Rifle useless. If you have a -0.30 Accuracy Sniper Rifle and then add a Scope you won't be affected. The same applies to all Scopes in the game. None of my weapons have Scopes at the moment. Thankfully the default Sniper Scope is actually really good.

You are pretty much my hero! THANK YOU! I ruined many a gun with crappy scopes.
