Why don't any of these work anymore? Is there are any reason they actually disabled these codes so quickly?

I saw that I could get 4 extra inventory slots using the Arkfall codes and other such non-premium goodies, but then read that they've all expired and none of them work. How are newer players expected to stick around with all the existing limitations that can only be surpassed over a cashwall?

These codes are 24-30 months old you can't expect them to last forever

Have you two seen how limited the game is for f2p players? This game operates on the weirdest f2p system I've ever seen. Most of the stuff needed for in game activities e.g. Hunter reqs, Chip Pillars etc, are locked behind paywalls! We might get 3 Reqs a week, but realistically, eventually that's not going to cover one expedition. Then there's all the content that still drops for you, even if you don't own the accompanying dlc.

I'm a bit loathe to spend money on free to play games, that's why I'm having a bit of a rant.

True, however what if someone decides to play the Game purely because they enjoyed the show? I'm one such of these, saw all three seasons before I played the game.

well in other mmos they have stuff like this for instance wow comes to the mind with the mt dew battle bot or the mr t nades they had you cant expect codes to work forever they do have a time limit. Im not upset with the codes expiring. Nor are my friends that started playing recently sure they missed out on some nice stuff but its nothing to complain about.

So you're telling me 4 extra inventory slots wouldn't come in handy? The f2p players get 35, which is nothing. How do you get more? By paying. In other mmo games, you get more just by playing the game and purchasing in game items.

It may "Only be" 4 slots, but that's the difference between clearing space once or twice during an expo, or not at all.

Even with the 4 free slots I, and several other friends, bought 100's of them. Before there was a cap at how many you could have at all.

Limited time codes are just that, limited time.

You enjoy the game, spend a few bucks to help keep the lights on...Pretty simple.

you cant expect coming to the game late for codes to work. or be entitled to them since they were able to be used at one poi nt in time there expired. If you want more invtory space buy it like the rest of the community of defiance did I hate to sound like a **** but these were limited for a reason. In other mmos like neverwinter i know for a fact there are a ton of great codes that would be useful you cant expect every code that is realased to work or where would the benfit be for those that have entered those in they have to have some thing special for those that did. I like the fact that i have a few items that only a few have that were around for this before launch of the game back in 2013.
