Theirs clan ranks??
I just assumed you could create a clan (at a price) and that was basically it. I'm intrigued now. I would like mroe on this also![]()
i meant once you create a clan you can promote people to lets say member, admin, underboss stuff like that, i just want to know what those ranks do and what kind of authority these ranks hold within the clan, i do believe there will be clan rankings aswell though if you go to defiance.com/my ego/player hub it says "Clan Rankings" but its offline at the moment

From what I can tell, Leaders, Officers, and the Founder are allowed to invite new members into the clan. Leaders and the Founder also have "Admin Options" which include inviting somebody by just entering their gamertag,PSN name, etc., and entering a message that displays on the clan page. Leaders and the Founder can also promote and demote people. Recruits and members are just basic members with no special privileges. I believe Officers are allowed to invite people if they see them ingame, but not by directly entering a GT/etc.

Is it possible to send a clan invite to someone who is not online while you're sending the invite?
I belong to a very large PS3 gaming clan that mainly plays COD and Battlefield games. We have members all over the USA, Canada, and Europe. Yesterday, I started a Defiance clan (in-game) so that we could more easily group up. While attempting to send out several clan invites to people that were not online, I repeatedly received a dialog box stating that my attempt to send a clan invite message failed because the intended recipient was not online.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
This is a major inconvenience to me because I'm in the Eastern time zone - and I'm almost never online at the same time that people who live in the GMT time zone are. As the clan founder, I'm responsible for sending them clan invites. Is there a way that I can send these people clan invites while they're offline?
