Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.
I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

No no no. Just add perks that decrease melee dmg taken. The problem is no way to block melee dmg.

That would effectively nerf normal melee attacks.
Only swords are broken, not regular melee attacks.

I have literally blurred with brawler stim and one hit people by just punching. Its not just the swords.
we should not have to use perks against a determinated kind of weapon
Easiest fix. Remove swords from consoles until they have figured out how to kill blade runners like on PC. The blade trend is already beginning to die down on PC NA.

swords are fine,just that exagerated range is wrong,a dude hitting the air 3 meters away and still killing ****
btw if grenades were not glitched swords would not be a trouble
