you can only hold on to 75 key codes .. so spend some or you are wasteign them .. once you reach the max .. you wont get any more .. stupid mechanic
I watch to see if I'm within 5 or so of max then buy a trier 3 lockbox.
Sadly It's usually crap guns but keep me below max and the keys come pretty fast
"Here's the plan: We go in, I start hitting people hard in the face, see where it takes us."
64 key codes for tier 4. teir 4 has best chance for legendary. just sayin'
"remember that I am an ***; though it be not written down, yet forget not that I am an ***."
Censored??? it's frellin' Shakespeare ! Twits!
Otherwisely known as Hubris.
This is me in Defiance. Oh, and irl, too.
i feel like the boxes are a waste of time and effort and resources anyway.
99% of the time i immediately salvage everything i get from them. they also seem to be fond of giving me BMGs and infectors, which i'm not interested in using whatsoever.
I don't disagree - It's more typical MMO mentality - people want to get to the "end game" / max level and then get the best items they can.
Trion have done their best to counter this by how they have controlled the stats of weapons but not everyone is going to know that from the start or read the threads on the forums about it. If they can hold an unlimited amount they won't be encouraged to use them, whereas hitting a low cap early on encourages you to use them and find out what they do.
I'd have to agree with dirty on that one.
No point in not letting you save up the keycodes.
You can't really twink with them and only another high level EGO player would even want high level gear.
Mods would be the only thing you could even think about doing with them and with the limited inventory space, and no auction system it would be fairly difficult to get rid of them. Low level players might use them but you'd burn alot of salvage to continually move them to new weapons considering the lock out on the weapon xp.
