Number of PC Players?

PC for me. I think you will find a lot of people getting on the PC that just aren't as vocal as the console community. I do have to admit it does make it a little difficult to find a good guild playing on the PC. For new players.

agreed. i brought this up because i looked through the threads on these forums. i see "what edition are you getting" threads and most of the responses are console players, and the guild recruitment page... i tried a search for PC clans, PC guilds and PC outfits (planetside calls them outfits), and i got like 3 hits, and 2 were about consoles....

guess i'll have to wait till/if i get into the beta and/or alpha (i know my chances are slim), to find a group of people to play with and see what they do. (worked in planetside to some degree, although a number of them burned themselves out on the beta/ picked different servers).

currently know of one guy from an outfit i played with for years now that will be getting this game. dont really think 2 players is enough to start an outfit, but you never know, perhaps we'll meet people who want to join up and play with us more.

MONTE... did you play WoW on the bleeding hollow server? the name seems familiar....

I will be getting it on PC but depending on beta I may change to Xbox. Seems like every shooter on PC these days is rampant with aimbots. Also, if it's cross platform so the PS3, Xbox and PC users all play together I may just get PC AND xbox versions... maybe even PS3 so my dad can play. It's all up in the air at this point.

I don't think we have much to worry about. When the game goes live you will see tons of PC guils spring up. I just makes finding one now a little harder.

I have used Monte since the SSI D&D games of old (yes I am that old). Used it in UO and every other MMO I have played, though I find now I have to use some form of it (Montie, Montiey, Monte9 and so on) since it has become a lot more popular. In WoW, I had characters on Archimonde(alliance) and Tichondrius(horde) . So sorry, it must have been another Monte.

PC all the way for me. All the games I play are PC games.

I have a custom built gaming rig, totally prefer it to console play. I'll be on the PC side of this with bells on.

Yeah, remember when you destroy the base and hope over the wall and get your first mission to meet up at the commanders tent? It was just a wave of hundreds of players running down that road scanning the pods. And the first area with the crashed ship was just so over crowded.

yep, I think I stepped on a lady's foot, oooops! I recon that there has been a lot more hype on consoles but I think the PC side of players will still be more
