    Can't destroy weapons

So I've got a shield and a sniper in my inventory but I cannot sell it, there no option to destroy it or breakdown to salvage it?

It's probably equipped in one of your loadouts. Check your loadouts and if it is equipped there then unequip it.

This is most likely the case. They should really tweak the Salvage Matrix to prompt you that you have said weapon/shield equipped in a loadout and ask you if you want to remove it to do whatever you need to do (scrap it, modify if, etc.).

They also need to have an option to simply unequip an item from a slot in your loadouts. You shouldn't have to carry around two extra items just so you can mod one other item that you actually use. It's a waste of inventory space.

I don't think you have to carry round spare weapons. You can add mods to weapons while they're equipped and you can equip the same weapon to more than one loadout.

But you can't add MOD Slots to a weapon that is equipped to a Loadout Slot.

Didn't think I explained that very well sorry. What I mean is, for example.. I have 3 loadouts and 6 weapons equipped (2 in each).
If I want to add mod slots to one, I can equip one weapon more than once in different loadouts, freeing that gun up to go into the salvage matrix.

I have a grenade sitting in my inventory (unequipped) and I can't sell it or break it down. Getting rather annoying right now.

True enough, I suppose. I'm just the sort of player who never uses more than one loadout, so I have a second one that I *have* to fill even though I don't want to. Easiest way is to equip the same items to all my loadouts, but that means I need two items not in a loadout to add MOD Slots to anything. Technically, I should only need one, but sometimes the game won't let me equip the item after I've added the MOD Slot, so I have to use a second weapon to equip the one I actually want to use.
