Shadow war madera west has just appeared on main game map screen...

A huge purple icon has appeared on my game saying "shadow war madera west" out in the middle of nowhere. I've gone to investigate and found a fair few other people here to!!

Lots of us are just stood here now on the spot and nothing is happening.


Is something meant to happen??

I though shadow war was PVP not on the main game?

Shadow War is PVP that takes place in the open world, and converts said locations into PVP ones with PVP objectives. You have to queue for it, so even if you just walk up, you're not auto flagged or anything like that. You can still do PVE stuff while shadow wars are going on as well.

I had the same problem what you've gotta do is press right or left on the d pad "I can't remember which one" as you would if you were searching for a multiplayer game and click on shodow war and that should take you strait there. I think the big purple circle shows up on the map ONLY when there is enough people to actually play it as I think this particular game mode requires 32 people to play.
