So i logged in today and the first thing i see is two people taking it in turns killing themselves and the other reviving them and using a BMG, I haven't gone through the Pursuits yet but i imagine somewhere in there thiers a pursuit tracking this.
So my question is to Trion and the community here is it acceptable to do this?
This is just like cheating to get achievements in other games. It doesn't affect anyone besides the person cheating.
Sure, I guess they get 5 EGO levels out of it in the end of the day or whatever it is, but does it really matter in the long run? Nope.
Had they been stat-padding to get to the top of a leaderboard or to break the economy (which is nonexistent as of right now regardless), then it would've been an issue. But, like I said, neither of these exist right now. So it's not really a problem.

I believe doing that will also level up your BMG weapon skill
The question would be, is that really usefull? Going to a arkfall and just keep spamming BMG on any given mob will give you more on the long run and the mobs got trashload of HP, you can do that all day long :POriginally Posted by square

While there may be a pursuit linked to the use of it I figure we are so early in the life of the game that a lot of the challenges will unlock naturally through normal play. Only when I've reached the end of the story, done all the side quests and missions and want to raise my EGO level further will I really look through the pursuits to focus on one particular weapon or skill to unlock it.
It's actually kind of smart for the revive parts of pursuits. There's one in a final tier that's about reviving 1000 people (if I remember right). I've had a hell of a time even helping out one person :P
i went to an arkfall..... i got 13 revives on the first with final boss the bug came out it went BOOM on a player and loads of ppl died rofl

Just to clarify im not whinging about it affecting me as far as i am concerned its Zero ****s Given im just wondering where Trion lands on this, is it an exploit or a lazy person's option.
Some folks like to ruin their own experience. Some folks HAVE TO HAVE all the Pursuits complete. These are those folks.
