im a little on the side of the complainers more and more, just because from a business sense, a majority of the community wants something, and the forums, they are a microcosm, and in todays culture, its I want it and I want it now. So if any developer wants to make a game, they need to meet the needs of the consumer, and in this case, they may not want it to be compared to other mmorpgs, but it will, so if they are spoiled by one feature, or updates..they are going to want the same treatment from a competitor. I just want global chat!

Given how antisocial the community in this game seems I'm not sure a global chat would do anything. I have seen maybe 3 people actually talk since launch, and I had to turn the voice thing off because the game doesn't give you a push to talk option.

mmo's are more than doing the main story line and then whining. just saying. id screenshot my map and show all the side missions i have left to do but im sure u can already see those. then there are arks, time trials, hotshots, rampages, coops, pvp and general exploring.

you say there is no progression yet i coudnt disagree more. when i go to starter zones for the occasional contract i run them over. compared to when i first started its night and day. even if u cant quantify it with numbers its still happening.

end game isnt even here yet. not sure what their plan is, but im confident itll have something with more of a endgame feel soon. but i dont think real end game will be released until the end of the show season. this mmo is NEW in its approach. if u came into the game thinking you would just smash through a certain lvl grind then kill end game bosses i think you are stuck in the typical mmo mind set. personally i like the set up. the game will progress with the show which gives me something to look forward to in months to come vs having it finished in 30 days.

this isnt going to be like Rift, they already have well....Rift. if thats the kind of game you are looking for go play it. in fact, id think this game would go well with playing Rift, u dont have a sub and it would serve well as a change from Rifts downtimes when you arent raiding etc. instant gratification = bad ....mmmkay?

And that's because there is no reason to chat. No place to meet up to hang,que,buy,sell,trade..etc No main TOWN/VILLAGE. It's missing so many MMO elements

This game also has me feeling robbed. It feels like it has stolen all my free time since its release.

Was just talking to my gf about how single player games has more content then this one. Matter fact Red Dead redemption MP has more content and the map is bigger.

There is also the fact that the range on chat is so limited that there could be 50 people chatting it up somewhere else in the same zone, you would just have no idea because youre a few meters outide of the range.

I don't really see how an open world game with character customization that's this shallow is supposed to really have great endgame. Everyone seems to be pretty much exactly the same, you can't even tell what kinds of perks people have slotted, except for their EGO power, and even those are pretty basic.

Yea, in all honesty, this is a single player game to me. That's also why I say it isn't terrible value for money. I guess we'll see how much money they ask when they start adding content.

I'd not say the majority have voices what they want. You tend to find often on games and with other things in general you will see more people voice their opinion when unhappy rather than happy. For all we know 90% of people with the game could be sitting happy no one has taken a full count. That's not saying that 90% are happy my point is we don't know the ratio

As for the fixing. Many of the things people wanted added/changed are gonna take much longer than the first few days after launch. My personal view is I'm not going to make my mind up in the first week. Maybe after the first few month.

Comparing single player games which release with 100% of the content to begin with (not counting DLC which you MUST pay for to access) vs an MMO which is known to have a schedule of free content being released on a regular basis, not all at once.... /facepalm
