EGO RATING:[2600]
I suspect he will be the next villian to fight in the upcoming DLC.
Founder of - Banana Republic - Xbox 360
nah he will be building up a horde of minions first we we will have a few dlc's before we fight him. next will be dark matter strikes back or return of the monolith or something
He probebly will be some sort of antagonist, but note that when his eyes flashed and he attacked Nim on the bridge as he was walking away after the attack he said he had no control over shooting him, and wasn't sure what he just did. That makes me think the core, or whatever power it has over Von Bach will sort of posses him in order to finish some sort of goal..
That might be finish terraforming earth, but it's possible another force will come into this.
And yeah I liked Von Bach too. He was a dirty scoundrel at times, but I like how even though he was ridiculously smart and rather well known (weather fame or infamy) he still had his weak points at times, like when he was lifted off the floor and drop kicked by torch into his weapons locker, which he was subsequently locked in XD
To which he said "Alright I'll stay here then!" As if he had a choice heheh
Magic 8 Ball says "All signs point to yes." Magic 9 Ball says "Duh." The voices in my head say " Who cares, just punch Nolan in the face... hard."
Honestly I think of the games storyline like a season of a show (Think Smallville) I see him being that typical guy that is thought dead and comes back in Season 2 not really himself makes things really intresting because you don't know which side he is on And the glowing eyes Can either save man kind at the last minute or become a real big issuse that we will have to stop. (Think the Luthor's in Smallville)
No, I personally think because he tried to stop Nim and was thrown off the bridge (Wasn't necessarily 'him' in his mindset, but it was him doing it) he might have some good. I believe he may have been charged with the ark matrix or something, so he holds some type of power that we don't know yet, but I doubt he would use the power once he figures out what it is for evil, since he seemed bent on being the world's hero. I believe he might use the power for good to try and save the world, but also be an *** hole about it somehow, for obvious reasons.
Thank you, -Slay

What I want to know is...Was this just the first season of missions? Are they going to have the next season be a completely different set?

Quite possible that he may become an ally against another force. Assuming a connection between the core and himself, it may be designed to protect the Votan as a whole. Seeing Nim as a threat it would want to act to prevent itself to be used to wipe out even more Votan.
I am wondering if Von Bach has an EGO that has been compromised. One less designed for combat and more for science.
