How was bioshock as in the series from game 1 through infinity.. I've never played it myself but could if it's really worth it.

The first one was good. The second one was unsatisfying...kinda didn't like it. Infinite was truly amazing, story, visuals, and music wise. Combat was...hmm, lackluster, but the story was brilliant. Definitely worth a buy.

Yes it's awesome. Infinite is amazing. It's GOTY hands down. The first was awesome I miss alot of stuff from the first but it makes up for it. The 2nd was good but not nearly as good as the first and infinite

That sums it up pretty well.
I duno about GOTY for Infinite, but it is indeed very good. 1 is great and 2 is pretty good.

How were the controls, smooth or clunky.. granted I don't have a lot of games for ps3.. just a choice few that I like to play.. but the controls are easy to learn.. do they have replay value or once you've gone through it that's it?

Personally I don't find the Bioshock games to have much replay value. But that could just be me.
