Long time no see

Hey dudes!

My house burned up!

No **** I'm living in the back yard in a tent with a few cats we couldn't place in foster care. All the other cats made it. Nobody was hurt. The house is getting rebuilt better than before. (none of the exterior walls were insulated!) All our stuff gets replaced at replacement (new) value. We got the insurance the mortgage company recommended, Pemco. They have been fabulous.
I think I miss some of you guys.

Other news...

I started going outside again about a year and a half ago. Lost 80 lbs and now ride a bike everywhere I go. Pull a trailer behind it for Costco runs. Paige is retiring in September Whoo Hoooo!!! We placed 5 cats in foster care 4 are with Paige and 5 are here with me. The contractor is pretty sure he can have us back in the house before Christmas so our cat shelter will open again.

Oh yea, it turns out I'm really good at growing weed. Still pretty new at it but with all the organic gardening Paige and I have done over the years, it seemd like a no brainer when we got our medical cards. The Blue Thi Haze is doing particularly well.
I'll try to upload some photos if I remember.

Well one night I just came to the crossroad so to speak. So happens I had started using weed just a bit before and one night it just came to me if I didn't make some changes it was pretty much going to be some more years getting bigger and bigger until I died and whoever would have to cut a hole in the wall cuz they wouldn't be able to fit me through my door. OR I could just try to move a bit every day and see what happens. Turns out I was pretty morbidly depressed and the weed gave me a way out of it. I started walking at first and then got back into bicycling. Started doing more stuff around the house, etc etc. For the record, I'm pretty sure my results aren't typical but I'm gonna stick with what works for me.

Ok so I'm finally back and have some time to write up an appropriate post.


That's pretty tragic about your house but it sounds like you're a totally different person now (in a good way, not to say you weren't in the first place). I'm hoping for nothing but good things for you and your future. You're into growing green? That's awesome and to say I'm not jealous would be a flat out lie (it's still very illegal where I live). You should definitely try some Blueberry as it's one of my favorites.

Potato is good and meows her nasty death smelling breath in my face when she wants pets. It's hard being a parent some times. I'm in the beginning stages of opening my own company and work is already starting to roll in. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited and a little nervous about it as I have high expectations.

I haven't been playing Defiance nearly the amount that I use to due to several factors but I still try to pop on from time to time. I am still very active here on the forums and I'm sure by now you've noticed 95% of the people on the forums are names you don't recognize. The change is real and I know Destro and the rest of the guys are doing the best they can within their parameters.

Off topic, my brother is getting married next year so I'll be sure to check out the bridesmaids (WINK). Other than that man I've just been staying busy with work, hanging at the pool or on the boat. I'm rocking some really spectacular **** eyes right now.
