I was wondering if there is a place to store items, I have been collecting too many mods and weapons and have run out of room to store or loot.

No , you have to buy inventory slots , and u also unlock them as you level.

I sell the stuff i wont need anymore take a good look at your Inventory and see what you can't live with out and sell what you don't need to your fellow ark hunters...
