Community size

New here, but I figured I'd ask and see how big the community is currently? It doesn't seem like too many people are posting on the forums yet.

the community is there but it is small ( at the moment ) we've seen alot of interest at conventions and such, but there still isnt a hugh amount of information out there, the recent dev diary is about the best info we have as well as our interview and some others.

keep with us there will be more info im sure to be released soon.

Yeah for the most part you only get a tiny community of dedicated fans when there's barely any information out there about the game. Once the advertising and information start rolling out though you can probably expect there to be a larger amount of forumers.

I don't really think the "community" is that small just really passive. Every person I tell about the game and checks it out comes back to me excited but for whichever reason does not seem that interested in participating in the pre-launch community.

In time this will change as more dev dairies and other coverage comes out people will most likely get more excited and feel more inclined to be an active part of the community. One thing in my opinion is sure there are already a lot of eyes on Defiance.

Like the other guys are saying., I think the numbers are just in hibernation till there's more information as right now there's isn't much available for the community to discuss/debate....troll where all we can essentially do at the moment is speculate and all agree it looks good

There has been a certain lack of info in a few weeks, the only new vids deal with Pvp and dont tell us a great deal more than we know.

I think the community is small at the moment, but once defiance ads pop up on tv and it gets closer to the released date of the game I imagine the number of posters here will explode (plus the inevitable fake posters who leave comments such as 'I think this is very good' and 'I agree with what you just said' and you notice the strange out-of-place link in the sig)

Can't wait to see what you all have to show us! I'd love to seem some of the different play styles for the game, at PAX we saw a fair range of weapons from the different pre-made load outs. I'd love to get a bit of info on the range of gear both weapons and armor as well as the versatility that the load out will let us have.

Beyond that some more details of the game world we will be in (not so much on the show but what is san fran like. what factions are there and what kinds of interactions can we see between them?)

And of course more GAME!!!
