weird i never lost connection and had no trouble but my friend was trying to get on and can't connect, still playing fine here

In all seriousness, it's been almost a week - you had months of betas, and this isn't exactly your first rodeo as far as the services required to keep a MMORPG on line and accessible.

At this point, it's inexcusable. Someone at Trion doesn't know how to do their job.

The same thing happened to me on xbox a few mins ago, i was porting to a friend and as it was loading i got taken to the home screen. Now I keep getting "Your connection to the defiance server has timed out" I feel like i may be stuck in WTFville with you.

yep they went down for me too was just in game and lost connection and my internet is fine since i am posting on this fourm. wtf this game is really starting to suck 5 years of work and they can't handle gamers connections or all the bugs man black ops 2 didn't have problems like this or borderlands 2 guess its just trion

This timing out , not being able to connect, your connection has timed out crap is getting old very fast, and they take the servers down for 30 minutes at a time , to not fix the damn situation but their solution is to roll back the servers before the issue came up **** is getting old very fast.

I have to say being a person that played Rift from day one, its actually sad to see this company perform like this on this game. Its completely ruining their image imo.
