We are currently looking into why the missing string is happening, but you can determine a Jackpot came from Karma, if it was NOT included in the event rewards screen, and 15 seconds later it will show up in your chat window. I hope that clears some things up.

As always, with any random system, some players are bound to get more lucky that others. The main idea behind Karma is, that if you are getting unlucky, eventually you will get there. You just have to be patient. I am extra happy to hear you got a jackpot Bentu, as I know you have been an advocate of bad RNG. Keep playing, and you will be rewarded! That being the case my jp was not a karma jp then.
As for being an advocate of the bad rng theory, I am one of the conspiracies lol.
On xbox I have 69 days played on my main eu toon and 102 days on my main na toon.
I've not checked the time played on my main ps3 na toon but it was created approximately a year ago but the rng for that character is ten fold better compared to the other two.

Thanks for the explanation. I exited out of my rewards screen quickly so I had no way of knowing which jackpot roll was responsible. I only noticed that I received one because I went into my chat screen to ask a friend a something but the reward message didn't indicate whether it was due to Karma or not.

You may want to update the message that is displayed in the chat window to differentiate between the rolls. It would be less vague than "after 10-15 seconds you magically receive a jackpot", serve as positive reinforcement that the money that we are spending on the Patron Pass is worth it, and advertise to people that don't have a Pass that they may be missing out on something.

For example, a Sharps rifle would be considered legendary. Most gun historians/collectors know about the Sharps but few have seen one let alone own one. Jackpots even more so; one of Billy the Kid's revolver's would be on par with a jackpot. Now these people with multiple Jackpots, often of the same kind is an entirely different issue for an entirely different type of thread.

In gaming terms I am quite aware of what constitutes a rare find.
I've put more time into Borderlands1 than Defiance and nearly half of that would of been farming Crawmerax.

Those Pealessance weapons I got from him are highly prized by me as a lot of time and effort went into getting them.
I didn't buy a patron pass from gearbox for the chance to pull one which in any case is advertised as a certainty.
Something else should be noted and that's several people are still getting multiples Karma or not and others are still getting none or very little despite the pp.

On a side note, I didn't get the 0 string missing message with this one either and it wasn't on the reward screen.

So, Karma is for all players not only patrons?
Because, exactly what you have said happened to my husband. And he is NOT a patron!

The second shows the chat + time stamp.
Normally, if your inventory is full, it says:
You received weapon xy....
you received mod xy.....
you got rewards from arkfall....

Here its different, it says (i translated 'cause screen is german):
00:23:29 You received commando scope III but your inventory is full.....
00:23:29 You got rewards from Event Neo Votanis Freebooters for your score......
00:23:41 You received zodiac zealot but your inventory is full......

The white message with the string missing comes only to other players nearby. I had see this message several times in the last days for friends and random players. This white message is every time ~10-15s after an arkfall ends. If a friend get something it says in yellow: Legendary! Friend just got a Weapon (or something idk how it is exactly in english) and its every time in the same second at arkfall ends, not 10-15s later.

I think karma is broken. You have to look into this!

Edit: I got a Karma drop on my toon Taja ria, i'm not a patron. Please look, she got only a T4 mod in reward screen and the purchase complete message and after 10s she got the cosmic champion in her inventory.

I pulled all the helmets and titles then pulled my first which was the Cosmic, then the next morning I pulled my second which was the zodiac. but only one OJ which was from weekly, I filled my invent twice and claims to 115 3 times so far.
