Thought it was my turn to start this thread but I'm also interested in how many major event arkfalls you had to do to pull your first jp and how many more you had to do to pull your 2nd jp.

Will be interesting to see if we're all the same or some still have better Karma than others.

Edit. Johnny raised a good point for your Karma bar to work you will need a Patron Pass.

Oh ya just got my second karma drop and it was a beyond. I went 6 days and lots of arkfalls to 5 days with just as many arkfalls. I don't have any major arkfall drops yet. I love the new karma system trion thank you

Hey All,

I wanted to clarify a statement I said earlier in this thread that was incorrect. When looting a jackpot, both the standard jackpot roll and the Karma roll appear 15 seconds after the event ends. When we created the Paradise Karma system, we had to move all jackpot wins to this type of distribution. Currently, there is no way for players to discern whether their jackpot was a Karma win, or a regular jackpot win. However, the overall amount of jackpots that players are receiving should be substantially higher, and we are definitely seeing that across the board.

I do apologize for this confusion, and I hope that this clears up some concerns players had of non-patrons getting karma jackpots. Thanks again for all the feedback on the system, and we hope you continue to get good drops!

how about adding the old "Jackpot!" pop up banner to the karma jackpot drops?

The thing with having the karma attached to the patron pass in this way with no notification can lead to a instance like we had in the last armistice event where the two boxes got mixed up.
The boxes that should of been for sale in the bits store were actually available through the 64 key lock box system and I for one didn't pull a single jp from it.
The same could apply with the karma system and we'd have no way of knowing.
As it is I'm hearing that non patron players are getting more jps than usual and if that's the case why would I buy a patron pass.
The karma system needs a notification or at least be traceable.

Would you walk into a shop and buy something not knowing what it is?

Jackpot drops for non-patrons are no different than they have been every event in the past. This is simply a case of more people expressing their drops on the forums than in events past, and simple luck. There is nothing sneaky or shady going on here, and I assure you both the normal drop systems and the Karma system are working as they should be. Karma numbers and values is not going to be something you see, ever. It has always been intended to work behind the scenes, because showing a value to players for it would eliminate randomness altogether.

In regards to not knowing what Karma is, it is exactly what is advertised. The more boxes or events that you do, the higher your chance at getting a jackpot is. You yourself have benefited from this system, as have many other patrons. We are very happy with the results, and we hope the more you play, the more players will see the clear difference in jackpot gains.

I have gotten 3 jps this event so far. Before this, I had two jps total for 2016, despite thousands of arkfalls.
I have been an active patron member since it's inception. I for one think it is a great idea. I am not raking in tons of jps as a result of my financial support for this game, but at least I feel that my efforts are being rewarded a little better.

If you do not want to be a patron member, fine. Enjoy this free to play game for all of the things the game offers for free.
Lots of non patron players still getting multiple drops as before. At least karma gives players who support the game a chance at some good loot without the same lucky few holding them ransom for ridiculous amounts of money.

As for my scepticism on this subject please accept my apologies but after the Purgatory thing and my being double charged for something and support being of no help because of policy I'm a bit downright salty at the moment.

Things will return to normal in due course but lessons have been learnt.
