So is Karma turned off?

My RNG had been absolute garbage since launch. Most things I've got I had to buy from bit boxes or trade for. This last event no exception, i got a beta 6, and Aurora Ascendent from Karma but only got one oj drop from the event as a normal drop with well over 200 majors completed.

My elite lockbox RNG the past 3 days was insane though. Turmoil on Saturday night w 1 box purchased and Chaos on Sunday night with one box purchased and a vendor oj with a couple additional boxes Sunday night/Monday morning. The first few weeks was a disappointment seeing the exact same people score multiple jp's almost daily. I'm curious if those elite box drops were karma drops or if my RNG reset.

I dont know if it was my karma or not. but sometimes after getting my two event synergy rewards, the purchase complete would pop up and i would get 2 non event random weapons. ike a VOT lmg and a shotty. I've never received non event guns for rewards at an event major arkfall. was that my karma?

My rng is much the same as yours and like you the things I've got on xbx has come from countless t4 boxes over the years.
The only really nice gear I got from the 3year Defiant Few xp rewards were trade locked but I was lucky enough not to get too many doubles.
On the xbx na I did play with a lower level toon with its inventory full so any jps from the box went to claim and I could put on my main if I wanted but that's the only way I was able to get some decent jps on the main toon.

My f2p ps3 toon is another story all together, yes I've met some great guys on there and their generosity knows no bounds but my general rng is so much better than my vet xbx toons.
I'm sorry but I just don't believe that there is no difference between them it's more likely that our current Dev team can't figure out what's what with it or if they can they just aren't allowed to tell us.

Are you 6k ego as that sounds like you got a reward for your xp bar filling up or maybe a reward from another incursion you left to go and do the major.
Either way it should tell you in the system or reward chat.

At this point I believe that it does NOT exist, or that it exists but doesnt work, or is VERY glitchy.. We all know TRION and how they do things, and how they help or respond to their player's issues, so this issue shouldnt be a surprise to you guys.

I think it is best you think of it like this. One thing I will say is don't complain too much or they might just take it away.

For them to implement karma is an admission that the normal rng is lacking somewhat and to tie it to the patron pass is a blatant move to pay to win if we weren't already there in some respects.

I personally would prefer they did away with karma and fixed what is wrong with the rng.

I don't think it was ever turned on, or ever actually something that was created. I think it was just a story told by devs to get us to spend money and get nothing.
They are laughing all the way to the bank because of all the saps, me included, that gave them money for a 30 day patron pass, but got no jackpot item.

Boy this is spot on!! There are definite issues with karma and if their going to continue with this it needs to be addressed. I mean ppl were getting karma drops right off and others went the whole event doing hundress of AF's and nothing. There needs to be a meter so players know where it's at and it's actually working. I really do believe Trion has been messing with JP, OJ, and mod drop rates. This last event proved that with the extremedy high det mods drops and the low auto mod drops which they said had been increased. I've said this for awhile, I don't blame the dev's for this I blame Trion!

If you have cursed rng on your account, it is logical to assume that it is possible to have cursed karma. I played last event fairly even between both consoles.My Xbox has the account that is truly cursed, and took much longer to trigger a karma drop than my ps3 account.

You'd of thought it would be the other way around as you actually have to buy an xbl subscription before playing Defiance let alone the patron pass.
The ps3 you can just plug in and create an account download the game and off you go, that's free to play.
No idea what pc have to do but going by the replies on the forum there are very few from the pc community so all is going well on there or they don't want to rock the boat over other issues.
