I still don't understand why people buy lock boxes from the bit store and then get upset when they don't receive a jackpot. Think about how many T4 Elite lock boxes you have opened without getting a jackpot: that's the odds of pulling one from a bit store box except now it costs money every time you open one.
Really there just isn't enough value in the store boxes to make it worth spending $3-$5 a pop on them. This is especially true for synergies in an on-going event where the only value that they have to offer is a chance to pull a T5 mod. For the event boxes to begin to have value they need an exclusive jackpot that is not available from playing the event and store boxes in general should only drop T4 mods. T3 mods are what you pick up off the ground to fill a slot until you can get something better but it's not something that you pay money for.

My plan...buy a month's worth of Patron and the event box with new vehicle. Then drive said creepy style Mystery Machine to events and get loots with Karma. I say that is a good plan.
