Server Restarts: April 7th 11:45am PT - Xbox, PS3 & PC NA

I got kicked last night for what I assume was a restart, but when I came back today I had lost a few hours worth of progress ... Hope today is not like that.

Seriously, WTF do you guys not have some sort of system in place that warns people about impending server resets? Even 989 Studios figured that out as far back as Everquest.

I can live with restarts and patches, it's common for a new game.

But it's inexcusable to give players absolutely no warning about it.

They do have them but if you blink, you'll miss them :| They really *NEED* to move server notices to a banner going across the top middle of the screen, not the damn chat box which stays up for a few seconds.

haha i bet even back in the day with everquest they developed this great and new idea called "working chat system." but here at trion, we dont believe in no such genius things.

i agree there should never have to be Rolling restarts period if you guys (and gals) at TRION had done some more testing before the Corporate Bigwigs pushed the product flawed! servers just crashed on me in the middle of a main mission thanks TRION now i can go do my errands thanks to a flawed game!

They do let people know when the server is about to go down. A warning will show up in the chat window in the bottom right. 30 and 45 minutes out they give you a 15 minute warning that the server is about to go down.
