Ya'll know you can open up a full chat window, system chat message stay there for about 10 seconds for me at least, any way keep up the great work guys.
And I've played since April 1st with the VERY first downtime for me, yesterday. That's quite a few hours a day, every day. Sounds like bad timing. On the other hand, PC users seem to have less issues with connectivity. Multi-platform international; this is pretty impressive for not JUST an MMO, but an MMO with RPG elements. It isn't Call of Duty.
I think it's the chat system acting up that prevents the warning from going across :P
For instance: I'm on teamspeak with a buddy and he tells me "Oh, the servers are going down in about a minute for a restart." He saw it on the chat, and I didn't. Silly chat system acting up. But what I suppose lots of people want at the moment is something like a "Server will be restarting/going down" broadcast. Unfortunately the easiest place to put it is right where the loot window is, so people will then whine and complain about that too. :P
And technically it is close to Call of Duty. As you gain "experience" you unlock more alternatives to playing the game, as well as the game getting easier. That and I dabbled in the Shadow Wars thing earlier and realized how much I suck, when everyone seems to run around with a shotgun, automatic rifle or the occasional rocket launcher. It's almost ironic that despite "Not being Call of Duty" it seems to follow the same patterns. All we're missing is a claymore.
