does this sound like to you guys that they are doing a rolling restart like we might losse are tunes? cuz when i here rolling restart means bad for us or am i wrong

rolling simply means they won't do ALL the NA servers at the same minute but will roll thru the list IMO.

Is there anyway to notify the people playing they game better so we do not start a long mish. I understand why it is getting done, just that little chat down there is easy to miss.

This game is basically still in beta. Or, at least the servers are.

Plenty of F2P MMOs have had better launches than this garbage.. and if I lost all the progress I made in story missions today, I'll be nothing less than pissed.

That's hilarious since both DDO and WoW had horrible launches.

Not sure on DDO but WoW, really took em what 2.5 weeks to get it playable, and the bugs, the bugs, some are still ingame from launch just not a big deal. I admit after Rift's very smooth release(not perfect but great by MMO standards) I am a bit confused by this server instability, really thought it was gonna be smooth, but I enjoy the game none the less and will see where it takes me.

this. I just got dc'd randomly, didn't know what was going on because nothing showed up in game,and then had to check the forum. I've never been on any forum so religiously. especially since there's jack **** ingame info about wtf to do with contracts and outfits and the like.

For the contracts you could maybe try looking at the goals page, nice long list of contracts and what to do on each.

Yes this game has had an enormous amount of downtime, but would you rather they don't fix the issues with the game? They are rolling updates/patches out as fast as they can, which I'm very impressed with. If you want to hear about a horrible game launch, look up the game Vanguard:saga of heroes, that game had quite possible one of the worst launches in history, but that's SOE for you.
