Compensation is needed.

I for one do not demand but think it would be a wise decision for Trion to compensate for downtime. A lot of us have bought and re-bought XP boosts ( and other boosts ) but lose that time during downtime. The game does have its glitches and its flaws and I can understand that, but I do not appreciate the fact that Trion turns the server off and to fix... ALMOST NOTHING...

I know its hard and I'm not trying to complain. I just think a little compensation is in order though in the form of Bits or Boots themselves.

The game is great. I can say that and be proud of it. I am currently Ego 800+ and would like to continue playing strong.

This is true, if the time still counts down when servers are then they need to add more time to it or ((compensate)) for it.

I was under the impression the timer on the boost only ticks when your logged on. I had a 24 hr xp boost on my character from day 2 to last night...

Those $1-2 boosts are worth SO MUCH GUYS! Lets buy ALL of them while the game is still having connectivity issues! Oh no! The servers are down again? HOW HAPPEN?!

So we may get a couple extra hours on boosters, servers haven't been down for extended times when they are down. And i would rather have them going down for these patches now than big crashes later, or connection issues not being resolved.

Trion has been good about compensating for unexpected downtime in the past, just give it a bit and they'll do something that will make anything that you want in compensation seem minor to what they do; if they stick to running this game the way they ran Rift.

I dont really have much experience with Trion MMO's but i really hope you are right and if so I will be the first one to thank them. I do know that they pay attention to this stuff so i expect they will do something. I just hope it is enough and not some cheep attempt at appeasing like other MMO's have done. I also hope they get these issues under control fast, it is rapidly approaching that cut off time for people getting sick and quieting. I have seen it on many other MMO's and i don't want to see that happen here. This game has so much potential for growth.

Was down for 12 hours where I live at yesterday.
