I'm interested to see if they will actually be able to pull off putting this on the xbox. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but it would be great to see it that's for sure. I will be picking this up on the PC and possibly the xbox.

It's a huge risk making this cross platform, will they be on seperate servers? (because xbox games are restricted to xbox servers, also, microsoft micromanages the content published and released and they determine what the price to customer is)
it's risky because, of the consoles out there, xbox and ps3, xbox is very limited in its ability to perform as far as raw power is concerned, also having a limited space on the HDD. most games made cross platform could be much better than what they are, but because the xbox can only perform soo well, its pointless to develope the game farther and thus the games are literally being dumbed down to play on such a system (if, you manage to have one that works with the 87%+ failure rate).
for me, PC, as I will have no issues playing it at all, but also PS3, as it does have the raw power to perform as well as any PC off the shelf to date (with the exception of RAM limitations, the ps3 has unlimited HDD capacity, 9x 3.2ghz procs able to do 18tflops, agia physx, and a solid nvidia gfx proc plus the ability to use forums and surf the web freely, oh, and the only console with true 3d tv ability and pure uncompressed audio).
Imo, trion should consider not making the xbox version purely to try and get some sales numbers from the mentally defficient community it has, and instead make the game in it's entirety and all the glory that it could be on the pc/ps3
Incoming xbox rants (fyi, here's some hard facts for those who simply believe the viral advertisement from MS of what game is better:
over 80k more users online via ps3 than xbox live( for those who claim xbox live has more players)
ps3 is a global system, not region restricted
-also, slightly off topic- ps3 can play nearly 10k more titles than xbox ( for those who claim xbox has more games)
don't believe? I Own a game shop, try doing this; set up 2 identical top notch displays (perhaps 3d hdtvs in 1440p with about 1khz refresh rates), attach 1 xbox and 1 ps3, insert same games, display them showing same frames (hide the consoles completely so the test takers do not know) and have people pick which one looks better. Do the same with the audio via surround sound ~7.1 or so and record all of these reactions for this blind test, you will note that 9/10 of the people pick the ps3 over the xbox (1/10 have poor eyesight or hearing apparently).
Just saying (this was a really fun experiment I did.. too bad I don't get payed by sony
PS3. Will there be differences between the gameplay across consoles?
So this game can be played on all three platforms on the same server ie. I can play with 2 friends as a team 1 on a PC 1 on a PS3 and my self on the XBOX?????
No, you'd all have to be playing a single platform to play together.
To everyone that has been asking the same question, ^ that.
They said at the Comic Con panel that the servers will be separate, no cross platform play.
I'll be picking this up for PC. I may try using my 360 controller just to see how it feels tho.
The restrictions of xbox live connectivity are why they will not be truly cross platform in using the same servers. Imo, to have a unified community scrap the xbox one, this will also allow for Trion to dev the game with much more in it, better graphics/animation/lighting, mapping etc etc.
BTW, you can also use the ps3 controller on pc... but really, why, I use mouse keyboard when I can, which works well w/o driver issues
