I have to say one of my favourite movies is Equilibrium. I also love the original Star Wars, Lord of the rings, all movies with Nicolas Cage up until the first Ghost Rider (after that I think he went downhill), Avatar.
TV Shows - definitely Battlestar Galactica (remake) also Family Guy
I am a movie fan and watch most of them but those really stock to my mind.

I can't believe nobody mentioned ghostbusters or matrix + a few others from my list.I love my movies so i may miss a few.
