they do nothing to hackers. this game is filled with them . all they have done is mess up pvp .in this game. with 65% less damage . its very easy to spot these players out.

LOL PUNKBUSTERS! I remember them from RTCW. They were awful back then, hackers & modders went right thru their system. Have they gotten better with the times hopefully? I would never recommend them to anyone back then.

You say that, but it doesn't work. I've reported several players that EVERYONE knows is cheating. Using AimBot to get incredible head shots, lag switching so that when you've got their shields and health down so you can finally kill the sucker, all of a sudden they lag, then bam they shot you in the head. It's very frustrating because when I first started playing I got disgusted with PVP so for the first few YEARS I played Defiance, I didn't PVP. I finally got talked into playing and I enjoyed it, but now it's heading back to the bad old days. There are several Clans that are KNOWN to be filled with cheats. We report them over and over again, but they're still there. They stop for a while, but they stay. Now we're dealing with bots that are logging into PVP matches to farm Echelon credits so when you go to a Quick Match you end up in Waterfront being the only "real" player out of like 12. So you can either stand around for the 10 minutes waiting for the timer to expire to get your credits or just leave.
When are you guys going to get tough on these cheats and hackers?? They seem to know when you are watching them because sometimes they'll be all weak for an entire match or only until they're about to die.
Rant over. Hope this game lasts. I've been a player since 2013 and enjoyed the game so far, but if this doesn't improve I'm taking my money (real money) and going somewhere else.
most of it is lag missaccused as hacking, the problem is with the server/your comp/your conection to it as there is not lag compensation until they address this nothing will work and the changes that they make and have made will achive nothing

Sorry beforehand Hesk, but I'm pretty sure the community has no trust in Trion to remove the hackers in a timely manner.
The last explicitly obvious hacker that made no attempt to mask their hacking--- took over 2 weeks to see him stop showing up in PVP.
And the ones that are still around with look-smoothing aimbots to disguise their hacking--- well, they're still around. and they occasionally brag about it. they don't care about player retention. i don't know why they play at all, honestly... they've already reduced the amount of PVPers to shoot at to only a handful daily. (and apparently screenshots of bragging about this along with video evidence isn't enough.)
The only reason I played this game for 3 years was PVP.
PC NA players know I'm not a tryhard either, I'll go into PVP with two Haar's, I don't care about K/D. I care about fun and sportmanship.
Between the idle accounts farming free currency, the PVP overkill tryhard anuses with no sense of honor, the intercontinental latency...
PVP is dead.

if you could earn pve rewards in pvp maybe event drops, players would actually play pvp instead of having to do the events over pvp.
