Fox has a knack for mismanaging Sci-Fi shows (stupidity AND incompetence) and there are other successful shows that portray the "establishment" in a bad light (Blacklist, House of Cards, any 24-hour news channel). If the "establishment" wanted to silence Joss Whedon then he never would have been permitted to release "Serenity" much less be handed the keys to the Marvel franchise which is owned by Disney which is one of the most obnoxious content owners on the planet.
I Googled the title of the thread because when someone posts something that reads like it was written several months/years ago then it usually was.
Spammers use bots that copy posts from much older threads in an attempt to create what appears to be a valid looking account and then use that account to upload spam. Usually bots pull the content from the forum that they are posting to which is why I was little surprised by the source of this thread.
