I am pretty sure the DLC isn't meant to work across platforms. Even account-wide doesn't translate that way. Like if I buy a patron on PS3, I won't also have it on my PC account (at least I don't think I would). If you bought it on the website, it would apply it to your PC account, regardless if you have a character on there or not. It is linked to your email address, yes, but that doesn't mean their system automatically knows to unlock it on your XBL account. So unlinking won't do anything. You would have to submit a request to support but I don't know if they will fix it or refund it.
