[BUG] Voice on/off does not work.

Last night I turned voice off, and the setting is still on off. However, everyone i group with can still hear me and my annoying bird.

Kill your mic instead. Turning off voice chat is a terrible idea as it also kills text chat from what I've heard. Luckily for me, my mic comes with a hardware mute toggle.

Yeah I noticed that the first day that when you turn voice chat off it mutes every other chat, But it is just a long line of things that need to be fixed in game. I have wondered if they ever tested this chat thing them self's lol

If you toggle the setting on then off, it turns voice back off for that session. It's a workaround on the PC platform at least (if you DC or re-log you'll need to toggle the setting off then on again). Hopefully this helps, I've been using this workaround since launch

Yeah that's what I do but shouldn't have to once you toggle off should stay off, unless I want it turned back on

Toggling it back on and then off fixes it.

Killing the mic isn't necessarily a good option, at least for me. I use ventrilo while in game. They need to fix the problem. Would also prefer there to be a keybind for voice then I could just leave it on also.
