Has anyone tested whether we get Karma points if we're outside the major when it ends?

I.E. I stop at the final and get points... then I go to a siege or other arkfall to clear it making room for the next major to drop in the hopes that it will be a new event major. When the major ends... I get my two items obviously but won't see the purchase completed box. I know some people were talking about running a mule with Karma and a regular toon who was going to get points then leave the red zone. But I never heard the results of the experiment. So if anyone has feed back it would be greatly appreciated

this kind of questions i suspect only the developers can answer,one can speculate,but we dont have access to how it was coded.

No there were a number of players testing it. Alls you have to do is get two accounts both with patron. Both of them go to the major final and get points. One of them leaves the major and goes and does other stuff on the same shard/phase but outside the red zone of the event major. If both toons get a Karma drop around teh same time then it's confirmed that Karma does indeed work whether you stay to see the final screen and purchase complete or not.


This is kind of an important thing to know for numerous reasons but one example would be that sometimes you might have two (or more) event majors going on at the same time, on the same shard. If you get points at both of them and then the one you're not at finishes first... do you get Karma for both then as well? I would really appreciate a Dev answering this but am not expecting it. I do however know that there were a few players with numerous accounts that each had patron testing this during the last couple of event. So I figure eventually someone who knows will see this

Did you get a "Purchase Complete" letting you know you recieved Karma?

ive fast travel to fork from mount tam while a major was going on and got 1 at the fork. i dont remember about the time i was in sv . i did get the rewards in my system chat . i have hit up 3 majors in the same phase and got pop ups from all 3 .

If you hit two majors say one at the fork and one at BB on the same shard... and then you stay to finish the one you got the points on second while the first one ends... you will get rewards from the first one... but since you don't see the actual rewards screen there you don't get the karma credit for it. Makes it a pain when two majors start at the same time but whatcha gonna do. Basically if you don't see the rewards screen come up with the purchase completed then you don't get the karma credit.
